"ESA International is a dynamic,
proactive group of Queenslanders who believe in making a difference in the community.
For many years The Cancer Council Queensland has enjoyed a strong and
productive relationship with ESA members. They raise funds through participation
in activities such as Daffodil Day and Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea which
are then allocated to a wide range of cancer related programs, including
educational fellowships, nursing education programs and support for the Nurse
of the Year Campaign. ESA members are valued supporters of the Cancer Council
Queensland.
Kym McDougall
The
Cancer Council Queensland "ESA over the past 21 years have been very
strong supporters of the Foundation with funds and practical support. The
Leukaemia Quest has proven to be very successful over the years and the
Foundation recognised the ESA support by naming the patient support and
accommodation centre in South Brisbane, the ESA Village. The ESA Village
provides a secure and safe haven to 21 families while receiving lifesaving
treatment." Peter Johnstone,
ESA is a quiet achiever but its efforts have significant impact on the
lives of many people.
